Pressure sensor for jam prevention is a cable-type switch that is energized when its sensing element is crushed by a person or comes in contact with an object. The cable has a structure in which the outer rubber sheath has an inner lining consisting of four lines of conductive rubber arranged in a spiral. The sensor can detect an object in any direction over the total length of the sensing section.
