In recent years, the use of rectangular enameled wires has been considered mainly in the automotive components industry to achieve compact, lightweight and high-output products. To respond to the needs, Hitachi Cable introduces high-reliability polyamide-imide enameled, small sized rectangular wires that can be used in hostile winding conditions or severe environments.
- Excellent flexibility (No cracks occur in the coating film when the wire is bent edgewise with a bending diameter equal to the conductor width).
- Uniform coating including at the corners provides good dielectric properties.
- Much higher space factor compare to round enameled wires - theoretical maximum space
factor: about 78% for round, about 91% for rectangular.
