The cable is manufactured at our Minato Works, a specialized plant for the manufacture of undersea cables. Minato works is located next to Hitachi Pier which is accessible by 30,000 ton vessels.
The 6,700km manufactured for the TPC-5 project, which we shipped in 1995, was the world's longest length for installation in a single run. |
