Products in the AquaVocal series are IP-PBX devices intended for small- to mid-sized offices of 5 to 200 users. Most current IP-PBX products are intended for larger offices, which make them less than ideal for smaller offices in terms of initial and depreciation costs. AquaVocal is an all-in-one IP-PBX that offers the various functions needed for IP phones at office suites, including gateway functions like an IP carrier gateway, a PSTN gateway, a gateway for connecting analog in-house phones, PPPoE functions, and survival functions that make it possible to make/receive calls on the public network through analog phones in the event of power failures. AquaVocal simplifies IP telephony adoption for both small- to mid-sized offices and branch offices/sales offices of larger companies, while concurrently cutting equipment costs and TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) for communications facilities.
<Practical use of various messaging solutions>
| In combination with WirelessIP5000, AquaVocal supports instant messaging. To increase the efficiency of business communications, we are currently working to implement the practical use of various messaging solutions by combining telephones and PCs, including: a voice mail function that converts text messages left on WirelessIP5000 into audio files and sends them as attachments to the user's email address, and a message mail function that converts recorded calls into audio files and sends them in the same way. | AquaVocal2112-FXSO |
<CTI for small- to mid-sized offices>
By combining AquaVocal with WirelessIP5000 and fixed IP phones, we developed a CTI* solution in coordination with CTI software for small- to mid-sized offices. In conjunction with IP phones and a database system, AquaVocal improves work efficiency for a wide range of business operations, including help desks at manufacturers, support centers at mail-order companies, and order handling at food delivery shops.
* CTI (Computer Telephony Integration): A technology for integrating a telephone or facsimile into a computer. Linking a customer database to the system lets operators view information on specific customers simply by entering their phone numbers. |
