Dual gauge copper strips

Our dual gauge copper strips, with integrated thin sheets and plate sections thanks to our exclusive processing technology are widely employed in power transistors used for power supplies of computers and electronic home appliances and electric components of automobiles. The sheet section serves as the lead of transistors while the plate section plays the role of heat sink.

Compound semiconductors

Offering excellent high frequency characteristics and low power consumption, gallium arsenide compound semiconductors are used in transmitting and receiving devices such as mobile phones and wireless LAN systems as well as switching elements and other electronic devices. As optical devices, these semiconductors are widely applied for LEDs (light-emitting diodes) and as lasers in optical pickup devices used in CD and DVD players. The company also produces gallium nitride substrates for blue laser used in Blu-ray players.

* Blu-ray is a registered trademark of the Blu-ray disk association.

Micro-coaxial cables with excellent elasticity, space-saving and high-speed transmission characteristics are widely used as wiring materials for the folding sections of mobile phones and laptops, in addition to digital electronic home appliances in the process of miniaturization and performance improvement. Rolled copper foils are thin, excel in elasticity and are used as conductors for flexible printed circuit boards, contributing to making equipment thinner and lighter.
